Welcome to the documentation of Perion and ApoPerion.

**Perion** (/Pe'rion/) is a Python wrapper for the visibility and audibility analysis software **Kalithea**. The latter provides high performance calculation of visibility/audibility fields and warning device perceptibilities based on tailored GPU algorithms using Nvidia's `CUDA <https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-zone>`_.

**ApoPerion** is a web service that offers a convenient API to set up, control, and manage Perion calculations. Consult the :doc:`webservice` section for detailed information about the :ref:`API <apocommands>`.
